Library

The college library has a growing collection of about 16,304 books in various branches of Engineering, Technology and Sciences. There are also plenty of volumes dealing with Social Sciences and Literature. Reputed National and International Journals are also subscribed to provide latest information on the various subjects of study. The library is fully computerized using an integrated multi-user library management system. The package supports all the in-house operations of the library. The Library uses bar-code technology for computerized circulation system. Every document in the Library (except bound volumes of journals) bears a bar code tag that is used for its circulation. The reference collection of the library is housed in a separate area having a seating capacity of 150. Reference library functions from 9.00 AM to 7 PM. Photocopy service is provided at a nominal cost of Rs.0.50 per page. Library subscribes to the online journals of IEEE and ASME through INDEST – AICTE consortium. Library also has full set of web and video course materials prepared by NPTEL which is a joint initiative by all IITs and IISc. Library maintains an institutional repository using D Space developed by MIT libraries
